Brownie, 19-150's Bio

Brownie is a precious hound mix who was surrendered to Little Rock Animal Services. He has giant brown eyes that will melt your heart. He’s very playful and always up for a good romp with his dog buddies. Really don’t know a whole lot about him at this point, but he seems to be a pretty easy going guy. Looking forward to seeing how Paws in Prison life suits him. Stay tuned for updates!

Brownie is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Unfortunately, he has tested positive for heartworm disease. He will be treated for this condition by Little Rock Animal Services at no cost to his adopter. His adoption fee is $250.

Brownie is in the Paws in Prison program where he receives obedience training. He is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on December 26th. The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive his training journal. This journal documents everything from his entering the facility, his daily training progress, and interactions with his trainers.

If you’re interested in meeting Brownie or learning more about the adoption process, please visit our website and submit the online Adoption Application. Thank you!
