Kern, 19-146's Bio

When Wynne Animal Services picked up Kern he was a hairless 8 week old puppy. He's now 6 months old, so he's pretty much grown up at that shelter. The wonderful folks there raised him to be a sweet, playful, happy young dog. He loves the pool and his doggie friends. He’s looking for new friends now, hopefully with some humans who will make him part of their family.

Kern is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $250.

Kern is in the Paws in Prison program where he receives obedience training. He is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on December 19th. The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive his training journal. This journal documents everything from his entering the facility, his daily training progress, and interactions with his trainers.

If you are interested in meeting Kern or learning more about the adoption process, please visit our website and submit an online Adoption Application. Thank you!
