Delta IV, 18-030's Bio

Delta, abandoned and starving, is ready for her furever. Delta has had a ruff 2 years of life. Found emaciated, with one or two broken teeth, and missing hair from malnutrition she has now come to us hoping for love and CARE. Delta is a very sweet dog who wants nothing more than to climb in your lap and be loved. She is very good with other large dogs like herself. She doesn’t really understand smaller dogs. She is great with kids. She will do anything for a treat.

Delta is microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $250.

Delta is in the Paws in Prison program where she receives obedience training. She is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 4/26/18.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Delta’s training journal. This journal documents her arrival from the shelter, her daily training progress, and her interactions with her trainers. If you are interested in meeting or learning more about the adoption process, please visit our website and submit our online adoption application here: http://www.careforanimals.org/adoption-app.cfm
