Anya, 17-104's Bio

Anya was found abandoned and was rescued by a kind stranger. Anya made her way to CARE where she stole everyone’s hearts with how sweet she was! Anya does great with other dogs and people. She would love to have a family to call her own and to give her lots of treats! Anya LOVES to go camping, hiking, kayaking and swimming. She's definitely a water-dog. She loves her people fiercly and loves to be around you as much as she can. Contact CARE today about meeting Anya!

Anya is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $250.

Anya is in the Paws in Prison program where she receives obedience training. She is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 11/23/17.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Anya’s training journal. This journal documents her arrival from the shelter, her daily training progress, and her interactions with her trainers.
