Freddie III, 17-080's Bio

Freddie is ready to find his very own furever home! Freddie loves to be outside and take a nap out in the sun or inside taking a nap on the couch, Freddie isn’t picky! Freddie requires a yard with a fence and he has a roaming spirit. Freddie can be slow to warm up to people. He does best with kids who respect his space. Freddie likes to nap A LOT. He would prefer to lay in your bed with you or lay next to you on the couch. Freddie, once he decides that you are his person, LOVES to be where ever you are. Freddie is Heartworm Positive and will be undergoing treatment soon. Due to this, he currently leads a laid back life with minimal activity. Once he's heartworm negative he will be able to be active. Contact CARE today to find out about making Freddie a part of your furever home! Freddie is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoption applications may be submitted now. Freddie’s adoption fee is $250.

Freddie graduated from the Paws in Prison program where he received obedience training. The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Freddie’s training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, his daily training progress, and his interactions with his trainers.
