Blitzen V, 17-001's Bio

Hi! I'm Blitzen, a spunky shepherd mix from the Little Rock Animal Village. The nice people here at CARE picked me to be trained in their Paws in Prison program to help find me a new home! They tell me they thought I was really fun and outgoing, and absolutely gorgeous! I'm about 8 months old and 54 lbs. They have a really great training program here, and my trainers tell me I am really smart! I would love to share a treat with you and your family!! I also love other dogs and want to play, play, and play! Apply for me today to set up a meet and greet with me; I'm ready for my new forever family right after I complete my Caine Good Citizen training! I am already spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. I hope you come to meet me soon! Blitzen is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Adoption applications may be submitted now. Blitzen’s adoption fee is $250.

Blitzen is in the Paws in Prison program where she receives obedience training. She is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 2/20/17. The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Blitzen training journal. This journal documents her arrival from the shelter, her daily training progress, and her interactions with her trainers. If you are interested in meeting Blitzen or learning more about the adoption process, please visit our website and submit our online adoption application here:
