From his new owner, we have this great report!

"On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being perfect, Buck is a 20!!

He is a local hero. Our senior neighbor was just about ready to faint when Buck, on our daily walk, insisted that we go up the neighbor's long driveway and greet him. Just as we arrived, our neighbor indeed fainted and I caught him on the way down. We quickly alerted his wife and the paramedics. But what if Buck had not pursued greeting him??

This dog is special: he has a glow about him and a healing is in progress. He is now using his injured leg gingerly, but more and more regularly in walking around the house. His vet said that is a remarkably good sign, and, while we have to hold off on water therapy until his heartworm treatment is further along,

Buck aims to please! Only one accident in the house, which he told me about when I was on the phone: he had to go RIGHT NOW (which he did when I did not timely respond). He has learned two commands -- sit and shake; he has taught me two commands -- time for a reward low-cal doggie treat, and and time for a tummy rub. LOL.
