From Winston's owner:

Winston III wanted me to pass along a message to you and the others involved.He said, 'Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow.' I looked up that phrase in my cat language translator and the translation is as follows: Thank all of you so much for the wonderful CARE you provided me and for helping me to find a home that I can call my own. Winston the human has been trying to get me out from under his wife’s bed. I like it under the bed and think I’ll just stay here for a bit. They have a pretty nice pad here. I think I can fix it up and really get it sparkling. Thanks again for everything -- you all are wonderful. Meow, Winston III." We are loving Winston. He continues to let me know when to arise each morning and when to feed him and when to play and when it's time to pet him. He has taken over my easy chair in the living room which is all right --I can always sit on the sofa unless he decides he wants the sofa too...

Winston came to CARE as a stray who had been rescued by good folks who could not keep him permanently.  They had found him on a store parking lot, freezing and alone.
