LOUIE is a young Shih Tzu mix who was found badly injured and wandering down a local busy street. This precious boy had been hit by a car and apparently left to die. A Good Samaritan picked up Louie and delivered him to a veterinarian who was kind enough to treat his injuries and nurse him back to health. Shortly thereafter, LOUIE was adopted by CARE to his new owner, who sends us this great update! -- "Just wanted to let you know that Louie, still named Louie, has a wonderful happy ending!!! We adopted him several months ago from CARE and is living the life of a king! He has 3 brothers that he adores and is fitting in great with them all! He is an Energizer bunny that keeps going until we settle down for the night and he becomes such a snuggler which I adore! I just wanted you all to know what a great addition he has been to our family!" [09-26-11]
