Proceeds from this event will benefit CARE for Animals, Inc., a non-profit animal rescue and spay/neuter organization whose purpose is to rescue dogs and cats facing euthanasia from local animal control facilities, and to decrease the number of these homeless and abandoned animals through aggressive spay/neuter programs. Since its inception in 1998, CARE has rescued more than 3,000 dogs and cats, and provided over 10,000 free or low-cost sterilizations for pets from limited-income families.
