CARE Pets to Foster
CARE has no kennel. We depend upon volunteers to provide foster homes for our adoptable pets. These adoptable pets (below) need foster homes. They are waiting in an animal shelter, OR are living in another situation where they should not stay.
Foster care allows the pet to live in a home environment while awaiting permanent placement. The foster family's knowledge of the pet allows CARE to learn about the pet's personality and needs, which is hugely helpful to making a good adoptive match. Foster care gives the pet time to find an adoptive home, without risk of euthanasia. If you are interested and have questions, please call CARE at 501-603-CARE or 501-804-CARE, or email us at care@careforanimals.org. Or, read the Foster Family Agreement and submit the Foster Online Application Form.
Alternatively, you may print the Foster Family Agreement and Application and hand-deliver it to CARE headquarters, 5516 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock (Monday-Saturday, 10AM-4PM), or mail the form to CARE, P.O. Box 7604, Little Rock, AR 72217-7604, or scan/email the form to care@careforanimals.org.
Submission of the Foster Application Form does not commit you to foster a pet. You will be contacted by a CARE representative to discuss your application.
Thank you!
