Dog & Cats Who Need A Home

To apply to adopt a CARE pet, please complete the adoption application. If you are interested in meeting a particular pet, please complete and submit the adoption application. Submission of the form does not commit you to adopt a pet, but provides information useful to make a good and lasting match. You will be contacted by a CARE volunteer "caseworker" to discuss your application.

You may submit the Adoption Online Application form. Or, you may print the CARE Adoption Application and hand-deliver it to CARE headquarters, 5516 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock (Monday-Saturday, 10AM-4PM), or mail the form to CARE, P.O. Box 7604, Little Rock, AR 72217-7604, or scan/email the form to care@careforanimals.org.

Please review the CARE Adoption Contract. CARE's adoption fee is $150 for a puppy or dog, except $250 for a puppy or dog in the Paws in Prison program, and $100 for a kitten or cat. These fees are used to help rescue other animals.

Our adoptable pets live in volunteer foster homes, excepting the Paws in Prison program dogs which live in the prison during their training. CARE volunteers show some of the adoptable pets each Saturday at CARE headquarters, 5516 Kavanaugh Boulevard, Little Rock; adoptable cats are shown from 11 AM to 1 PM, and adoptable dogs are shown from 11 AM to 2 PM.
