It's time for our Ninth Annual Paws on the Pavement 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, May 17th at Murray Park in Little Rock.

The 5K Run kicks off at 8 am and the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk begins at 9:30 am. Pets are welcome to participate with their owners in the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.

In conjunction with this year's event, CARE will also host a Silent Auction from 8:00 until 10:30 am in Pavilion 5 at Murray Park.

Canine Waiver/Release: I hereby certify the following: (1) My dog is physically fit and has received medical clearance to participate in the CARE Paws on the Pavement event, (2) As owner of the dog, I am over the age of 18 years in age and shall be the only handler of my dog for this event, (3) In consideration of my dog's application to participate in the Paws on the Pavement event being accepted, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs and assigns, and my estate, hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the sponsors, organizers, and affiliates, as well as their agents, employees, and volunteers (the "indemnities") from all claims for any liability, injury, loss, or damage in any way connected with the dog walk and also waive and forever discharge the indemnities from any and all claims that may accrue as the result of my dog's participation.

Release: In consideration of your acceptance of this entry, all participants, intending to be legally bound hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release CARE and any and all sponsors, representatives, successors, and assigns from any and all rights and claims for damages I may have arising out of any injuries and illnesses suffered by me in this event, including those which may be attributed to weather conditions. I attest and verify that I will participate in this event as a foot race entrant that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and my physical condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. Further, I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use my name and photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of me participating in this event for any purposes without obligation or liability to me. I further agree that if I am participating in the walking part of the race that dogs will be part of this event and I hereby release and discharge CARE and any and all sponsors and representatives, successors, and assigns from any and all rights and claims for damages resulting from injury or damage to myself, my family or my pets arising out of my participation in this event and shall indemnify and hold CARE harmless from and against any and all loss, cost, liability, or expenses arising out of any claims asserted based upon the participation of myself, my family or my pet(s) in this event.
